The Leviathan now spawns instantly, and Anahita joins the battle when the Leviathan reaches 70% HP instead of 40%.Anahita's and the Leviathan's charges are faster, and Anahita spends less time between charges.Anahita's projectile rings spawn closer to the player.Anahita and The Leviathan can now also charge at the player during phase 2.During phases where the Leviathan can charge at the player, she can randomly select any of her attacks she hasn't just used, and she also hovers closer to and above the player when spawning Aquatic Aberrations. The Leviathan's charges become faster and shorter the lower her health is.Additionally, she gains a charging attack where she lines up to the side of the player before charging at them in a horizontal line. The Leviathan's speed, meteor spit, and ability to spawn Aquatic Aberrations returns to normal.Phase 4 (Additionally, the Leviathan can't spawn any Aquatic Aberrations during this phase if 1 already exists. The Leviathan spends much less time spawning Aquatic Aberrations, only able to spawn up to 1 per cycle. The fire rate of the Leviathan's meteor spit is halved, and the meteors move slower. The Leviathan's speed decreases greatly and she hovers further away from the player.Phase 4 (20% HP and Anahita is present).Anahita's behavior returns to that of phase 1, with the exception that Anahita, her attack speed, and all of her projectiles are slower.Phase 3 (>20% HP and the Leviathan is present). The number of Water Spears increases from 8 to 12, the number of Frost Mists increases from 3 to 4, and the number of Treble Clefs increases from 6 to 9.Anahita's behavior remains the same, with the exception that her projectile rings contain more projectiles and have a smaller diameter, spawning closer to the player. These bubbles can be destroyed by any attack. After every 2 sets of projectile rings, fires a stream of 5 Detonating Bubbles, which home in on the player and inflict the Wet debuff for 7 seconds.Projectile rings will always be used in the looping order of Water Spears, then Frost Mists, then Treble Clefs.6 Treble Clefs, which rapidly lose speed and become stationary, lingering for an extended period of time, and inflict the Dazed debuff.3 Frost Mists, which home on the player for one second after converging and inflict the Frostburn and Chilled debuffs.8 Water Spears, which continue to travel in a straight line after converging. Summons a ring of projectiles around the player in a radial pattern that then converge inward.Anahita's movement, attack, and projectile speed increases the lower her health is. She also spawns with an Ice Shield that blocks non-minion piercing projectiles and protects her from damage until it is destroyed, which respawns when Anahita reaches 70% and 40% health. If the player leaves the Ocean biome during the battle, the bosses will enrage, greatly increasing Anahita's fire rate and both Anahita and the Leviathan's movement and projectile speed.Īnahita loosely hovers over the player and attacks them using a semi-random attack pattern consisting of projectile rings, homing bubbles, and dashes. Once The Leviathan reaches 40% health, Anahita returns to the fight and both bosses become active simultaneously for the remainder of the fight until they are killed. During this time, a brief sequence plays in which the screen rumbles and the ocean's water churns, then the Leviathan spawns rising from the water. Once she reaches 40% health, she dives to the floor and becomes invisible and invulnerable and stops attacking the player. Both enemies must be defeated to count as a full kill and receive loot.Īt the start of the battle, only Anahita is summoned. This boss encounter is made up of two individual bosses: Anahita and The Leviathan.
